About Sunza Collective

Sunza began during a difficult season for our family. When my husband Troy became ill, it changed how we thought about work, family and time. I wanted to build something of my own that could grow around the life we were living.

The first idea came from a very ordinary frustration. Every day out seemed to involve wrestling Troy’s bulky esky into the car, then carrying it to the beach while juggling everything else. Food had to lie flat. Bottles never stayed where they should. And somehow, I was always the one carrying it.

I wanted something that worked properly but still felt like me. A bag that could carry food, drinks and all the family extras without looking like traditional outdoor equipment.

That idea became the Sunza Original. She started as my answer to the esky, but quickly became the bag I reached for everywhere. Beach days. School pick-up. Weekend markets. Road trips. Tuesday afternoons at the park. Sunza gave me something practical to solve, something creative to build and a business that could move forward with our family.
